RiverSong Voice grew from a simple belief:
Every voice deserves the opportunity to be heard
After decades of teaching, coaching and recording, we know that singing is about far more than technique alone. For some students, singing is a lifelong dream. For others it’s a way to reconnect with a part of themselves they’ve set aside for years.
Whether your singing for the very first time, returning to music after a long break, or preparing for a performance, our goal is the same: to help you build a healthy, reliable voice while enjoying the process of discovering what you’re capable of.
Today, RiverSong Voice serves students in Wisconsin and across the country through in-person, online, and hybrid instruction.
Meet Patrick Cunningham
Patrick believes it is never too late to discover what your voice can do.
During the more than 25 years teaching in the Phoenix area, Patrick worked with hundreds of singers ranging from complete beginners to experienced performers. He has taught students of all ages, from pre-teens and teenagers to adults pursuing a wide variety of musical goals. Whether helping a student build confidence, strengthen technique, prepare for an audition or performance, or simply discover what their voice can do, Patrick is passionate about helping each singer reach their potential.
What continues to inspire him most is not the polished performance at the end of the journey. It’s the moment a student realizes “I can do this.”
Patrick’s approach combines practical vocal technique with encouragement, patience, and a deep respect for each student’s unique goals. He believes every singer deserves to be taught as an individual, and that lasting progress happens when students feel supported, challenged, and free to be themselves.
Whether you’re preparing for a performance, returning to a lifelong dream, or simply curious about your voice, Patrick’s goal is to help you sing with greater freedom, confidence, and enjoyment.

Meet Bonnie Cunningham
Behind the scenes, Bonnie is the Director of Everything.
A lifelong music lover and former recording engineer, she keeps RiverSong Voice running smoothly while welcoming students, managing studio operations, creating content, and handling the countless details that make lessons possible.
Bonnie works to keep every part of the RiverSong Voice experience running smoothly, allowing Patrick to focus on what he does best—helping students discover their voices.
